When And Why to Use SWIR

  1. Nice demo! What about ice detection? Can you separate water and ice with SWIR? Pretty sure that should be possible.

  2. We have demonstrated this long time with our Log SWIR sensor. By using Log response you can easily make a ratio based spectrum to distinguish different materials, water and ice for example. If you are interested you can take a look at www.new-imaging-technologies.com.
